snapdragon: Nubia launches Red Magic 7 Pro gaming smartphone globally

Chinese smartphone maker Nubia has launched the Red Magic 7 Pro gaming smartphone globally today. The gaming smartphone (Obsidian Black 256GB variant) is priced at $799 (about Rs 60,781).
For now, the Red Magic 7 Pro will be available in the UK and other countries in Europe. It will also be available in the US, Canada, and regions like the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
The Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro features a 6.8-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and 960Hz touch sampling rate.
The gaming smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset coupled with a gaming-centric Red Core 1 chip. The phone comes in a 16GB LPDDR5 RAM option. The storage is UFS 3.1 and the company ships the phone in two storage variants: 256GB and 512GB.
On the camera front, there is a triple rear camera setup of 64 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone comes with a 16 MP under-display selfie camera. The phone has been given dual shoulder triggers with a 500Hz touch sampling rate and it also features the ICE 9.0 Multi-dimensional Cooling System for heat dissipation. The Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
