Colin became known to fans after appearing alongside David and his brother Ivor on their Channel 4 documentary, The Trouble with Dad.
The show covered Colin’s unique interactions with the world as the show walked viewers through the effects of Pick’s disease, making for heartwarming viewing.
Colin’s family had to arrange for carers to come and look after him in his own home, as his behaviour was adversely impacted by the disease, causing a compulsion to talk graphically about sex, which would then lead to residential homes refusing to take him in.
