Sony launches HT-A9 and HT-A7000 Dolby ATMOS and DTS:X enabled home theater systems, price starts at Rs 1,50,980
Sony has launched its premium range of home theater systems — HT-A9 and HT-A7000 in India. The new home theater lineup claims to offer multi-dimensional sound experience and features the company’s surround sound 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology to offer a wide soundstage while watching movies, listening to music and gaming.
In addition to that, both the home theaters support Dolby ATMOS and DTS:X surround sound technology.
Price and Availability
The new HT-A9 and HT-A7000 home theater systems will be available across all Sony Center, e-commerce portals, www.ShopatSC.com portal and major electronic stores across India from January 20 onwards.
Features
The Sony HT-A9 features a 7.1.4-channel setup via the four speakers and additional subwoofer. The A9 also features dual microphones in each speakers that measures relative height and positions and optmises the surround sound effect automatically and creates a 12 speaker system.
The A9 features the company’s latest omnidirectional Block design. The cylindrical shape represents a single solid block providing 360 spatial sound.
The HT-A7000, on the other hand, is a 7.1.2ch soundbar that’s rated to deliver a total output of 900W.
Both HT-A9 and A7000 support Spotify for streaming music and 360 Reality Audio. The home theater systems also feature DSEE Extreme which automatically upscales compressed music to high definition in real-time.
In terms of connectivity, they support Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, HDMI and USB ports.
The HT-A9 features four up-firing speakers and the HT-A7000 has two up-firing speakers for overhead sound, the insides of the speakers feature two rectangular X-Balanced Speaker Units to maximize the diaphragm area for richer bass and sound pressure. Both the soundbars support all the formats such as 8K HDR, 4K 120fps and Dolby Vision to give you the best-in-class entertainment experience.
These speaker systems can be further paired with SA-SW5 and SA-SW3 soundbars and the HT-A7000 can also be paired with SA-RS3S rear speaker kit.
