sony: Sony has confirmed the official launch date of its Xbox Game Pass rival

Sony has already confirmed the launch of its official launch date for its revamped PlayStation Pass. The updated PlayStation Pass takes its cues from the Xbox Game Pass where the company will be offering a catalogue of games to the subscribers.
Sony has now dropped the official release date for the service for different regions via an official blog post.
The blog post reads, “We’re making fantastic progress with our launch efforts and I wanted to update you on the latest. We’re rolling out our new offering for PlayStation Plus a little earlier in select markets in Asia, followed by Japan. Here is a look at our updated regional rollout schedule.”
Here’s a timeline for the PlayStation Pass launch in select markets:
Asia markets (excluding Japan) – targeting May 23, 2022
Japan – targeting June 1, 2022
Americas – targeting June 13, 2022
Europe – targeting June 22, 2022
In India the service will arrive on June 22 as according to PlayStation India belongs to European region.
In addition to that, the company has also announced the expansion of its cloud streaming access for a total of 30 markets. The company will be expanding the reach of its cloud streaming access in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia at launch.
