After some disputes with sponsored content in Street Fighter 5, In-Game Advertisement has been removed temporarily from the game. The annoying and garish ads are removed from the game. Yoshinori Ono, Producer of Street Fighter series said that the company is looking forward to new ways to improve them.
Street Fighter 5 which was launched in 2016 has been one of the most competitive fighting game till now. But now in the early December Street Fighter 5 has included In-game ads. Soon after its inclusion, fans started criticizing this step as this was very annoying while playing Street Fighter 5. Looking forward to this issue, Developer has removed these in-game ads for some time.
However, these sponsored ads were never declared as to be settled permanently in this game by Capcom. But now, after the end of The Capcom Pro Tour 2018 on Dec 2018, Yoshinori Ono stated that the company was evaluating how these sponsored ads are performing in the game.
Ono posted on Twitter saying that, “We value and thank our community for providing feedback on the new Sponsored Content feature added to Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition this week, We will continue collecting everyone’s feedback to consider how we can improve this new feature for players in the future.”
These ads will return shortly as they have been removed for some time, but now they will organize the new sponsored ads which will not affect the game performance. This time it expected that the ads will appear in way and style with some new costumes colors. However, the ads appearing on the Loading Screen and on Stage will be no longer available.
