The Street Fighter 6 teaser trailer was announced recently, 6 years after Street fighter 5. Apart from the stunning graphics and character designs viewed in the teaser, there is one more thing that has gained a lot of attention from people all over the internet. The teaser for Street Fighter 6 was just released and it features the beloved character Ryu alongside with a newcomer to the series, introduced in Street Fighter 5, Luke Sullivan, leading into a stare down confrontation between the two.
In the teaser the players get to witness true next-gen upgrades provided to their favorite, arcade-style combat game. It shows a whole new range of textures, lighting effects, ultra-realistic details, where the players are clearly able to see Ryu flex his forearms and sweat droplet formation all over his body. The teaser trailer for Street Fighter 6 has gone viral, but not for the reasons you would assume it to be.
One of the eye-catching details that players have noticed in the teaser trailer is a significant bulge around the pelvic area of Ryu. Ryu shows up in his iconic costume, and the camera pans to a bottom view of a stare down between the two fighters. From this angle many people are able to see a prominent bulge around the crotch of Ryu which can only be classified as an impression of the fighter’s private parts. As the teaser for the game doesn’t provide enough information to go on, people have latched onto this bulge and it has become a talk of the town, as reported by Kotaku.
This is definitely NOT what Capcom would’ve wanted fans to notice considering they are announcing a major sequel after six long years. Another instance that seem pretty embarrassing is the allegations that suggest Capcom used an $80 stock image for the Street Fighter 6 logo. Clearly, things haven’t really worked in Capcom’s favour with this announcement.
Another design element that has caught the eye of the players is that Ryu has shown up wearing sandals in the teaser. The teaser for the game is being talked about a lot, but for all the wrong reasons, and this can be credited to the fact that the Street Fighter 6 Team has just not provided any details or information about what to expect from this upcoming instalment to the series.
