Strictly’s Jamie Laing marries Sophie Habboo in ceremony at Chelsea Registry Office | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
Strictly Come Dancing and Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing enjoyed a low-key wedding ceremony with Sophie Habboo on Friday, surrounded by friends, family and celebrity pals.
Though it might have started to drizzle in notoriously rainy London, the pair were determined not to let the weather break their spirits as they shared an emotional outdoor kiss as man and wife.
Strictly pro dancer Giovanni Pernice, who won the show back in 2021 with Rose Ayling-Ellis, was present at the wedding as were Made in Chelsea stars such as Millie Mackintosh, Caggie Dunlop and Spencer Matthews.
Jamie, who is also a confectionery entrepreneur, finally said “I do” to his “best mate” Sophie in front of the star-studded audience, drawing a conclusion to their 16-month-long engagement.
Meanwhile, Sophie quit Made in Chelsea recently, branding it “soul-destroying” and explaining: “You’re not really any benefit to a TV show or reality show unless you are bringing some form of drama.”

Besides their close friends and family, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, who have both spent time on reality show Made in Chelsea, also invited some of their co-stars to join in with their nuptials. These included Spencer Matthews, Millie Mackintosh, Caggie Dunlop and Hugo Taylor and Ollie Proudlock. Sophie isn’t a huge fan of the show, after leaving due to excess “drama”, but she still made firm friends during her time there.
