Episode 2 showed Logan preparing for the Waystar-GoJo deal as he announced future plans for ATN. The Roy siblings were busy trying to get more money out of Matsson which forced Logan to meetup with his children at Connor’s party.

It was Episode 3 when Logan Roy died, a moment in the series that has been built up since the beginning. Logan had suffered a haemorrhagic stroke in Episode 1 and that laid the groundwork for the rest of the series so far, as his children began to fight to be Roy’s successor as the head of Waystar RoyCo.

Succession Season 4 is the final chapter of this story and with the last half of the show remaining, all eyes will be on the Roy children who will look to cement their spot as the leader of their demised father’s company.

The trailer began with the children mourning the loss of Roy but also the strategies they’re coming up with to succeed Roy.

Karl, CFO of the company, was seen emphasising why none of the siblings or Tom are capable of taking over the big role. As for the Waystar-GoJo deal, it naturally takes a hit even though Matsson is still looking forward to acquire WayStar.

It remains to be seen which sibling will finally win this feud for succession and the trailer showcases there are still twists and turns remaining before the audience finds out.
