Indus, the upcoming battle royale game being made in India, has crossed over 1.5 million pre-registrations on Google Play for Android.

SuperGaming has now announced its latest Esports Community Playtest 4 today. The idea behind this playtest is to get Pune-based SuperGaming’s game ready for esports competitions.

Indus crosses 1.5 million registrations

“Since our last playtest in Surat, we’ve had a lot of questions regarding competitive play as well as features like spectator mode,” said SuperGaming co-founder and CEO Roby John.

“With Indus’ core gameplay in place, this is the first time we’ll be showing our early esports features,” he added. “Now is a good time for us to add necessary options and refine them to make Indus esports ready.”

It’s an impressive feat for the upcoming battle royale game to achieve 1.5 million pre-registrations just on Google Play for Android.

However, SuperGaming has maintained that pre-registrations on the App Store for iOS and iPadOS will arrive “soon” but there’s no concrete date for that yet.

Indus Esports Community Playtest 4 will be an invite-only event, just like the previous playtests. Those interested can sign up for this playtest here.

Indus Playtest 4 new features

SuperGaming will be conducting these tests at their Pune office. The community playtest will give players access to the latest version of Indus which features the following changes and additions after Playtest 3 which took place in February:

● Squads
● Spectator mode
● Armour system
● Vehicles
● Supply drops
● Customisable controls
● Improved graphics and smoother visuals
● Animation improvements
● Traversal improvements
● Map improvements
● Mini-map upgrades
● New characters
● New character skins
● Weapon testing facility

Indus is an upcoming battle royale for mobile, PC and consoles. There’s no official release date announced by SuperGaming yet.
