Microsoft has announced that the new Surface Pro 8 will be available in the country from February 15 via commercial authorized resellers and authorized retail and online partners such as Amazon and Reliance Digital. The company has commenced pre-orders for the new 2-in-1 Surface device via select retail and online partners. The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 base variant is priced at Rs 1,04,499 and with the device, the company is offering complimentary Surface Pro Signature Keyboard worth Rs 16,999. The new Signature Keyboard provides storage and charging capability for the new Surface Slim Pen 2. Apart from this, the tech giant has also announced that the Surface Pro 7+ will also be available through retail and online partners from February 15.
Microsoft Surface Pro 8
Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is claimed to be more than twice as fast as Surface Pro 7, with 11th Gen Intel Core processors, and built on the Intel Evo platform. It features a 13-inch PixelSense touchscreen display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Thunderbolt 4 ports on the device allows it to pair with multiple 4K monitors, an external hard drive, or a gaming setup with external GPU. The detachable keyboard allows the device to be used as a laptop or as a tablet. It also sports a 5MP front-facing camera and a 10MP-4K rear-facing camera. For video calls, the Surface Pro 8 has dual far-field Studio mics. The company claims that the device can last up to 16 hours on a single charge.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7+
Starting at Rs 83,999, the Surface Pro 7+ comes with the latest 11th Gen Intel Core Processors and it is claimed to have 2.1 times faster performance, and longer battery life of up to 15 hours. In addition, with both USB-A and USB-C ports, the device offers the adaptability to dock into external displays. It also gets Dolby Atmos speakers and dual far-field Studio Microphones.
Both the devices are available in multiple storage, RAM and processor configurations. The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 and Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ are available with Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processor options along with 8GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB storage options.
