Popular industry insider Jeff Grubb from Giant Bomb recently shared a potential release window for the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Titled ‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’, developers Respawn had announced the project during Star Wars Celebration 2022 nearly three months ago. Set in the space world originally created by George Lucas, the upcoming sequel will continue the story of Jedi Knight Cal Kestis played by Cameron Monaghan in the series.

Along with a new video game title, the franchise will also be expanding with other forms of media, as Star Wars will be releasing two new novels based around the Star Wars Jedi franchise. While one book will detail the making of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the other titled ‘Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars’ will feature a new adventure for Kestis and his Mantis crew that will take place between the events of Fallen Order and Survivor.

Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars has been officially announced to release on March 7, 2023, and according to Jeff Grubb, Fallen Order fanatics won’t have to wait long to play as Kestis on their favorite console or PC, as he believes the title will arrive within a month after the release of the novel.

Fans might want to take this information from Grubb with a grain of salt. However, more often than not, the Giant Bomb member has been usually right about release windows of upcoming titles.
