Wests Tigers officials are refusing to accept the official result of their team’s loss to North Queensland in round 19.
It would have been a rare victory for the Tigers but it was taken from them at the death, leaving the club furious and unable to come to grips with the loss.
On Thursday, Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe and chairman Lee Hagipantelis met with ARLC chief Peter V’landys to discuss the possibility of reversing the result.
“We earnt those two points, those are our two points, we earnt those,” Hagipantelis told 9News.
“We won that match, we are entitled to those two points, the Cowboys aren’t.
“It also impacts on the top four, plus it’s an issue that needs to be addressed one way or another so that it doesn’t happen again.”
Regardless of whether the result is changed or not, the Tigers will miss NRL finals for an 11th consecutive season.
