Thalapathy Vijay is the latest celebrity to join Instagram. The first post shared by the Tamil actor was of himself dressed in a black suit and greeting his fans and followers with a sweet message. He wrote, “Hello Nanbas and Nanbis (Hello friends).”
The actor is the first Indian to gain one million followers in 99 minutes and has joined K-pop star BTS V aka Kim Taehyung and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie to hold the record for gaining the fastest one million followers.
In the last 24 hours, Thalapathy Vijay has earned 4.5 million followers and his post has gained more than 50 lakh likes.
Meanwhile, on December 6, 2021, BTS V gained a Guinness World Record for gaining one million followers in 43 minutes and broke Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie’s record who achieved one million followers in 59 minutes after her Instagram debut on August 20, 2021.
