The Flash movie’s streaming release window has already been announced even before it has hit cinemas. DC’s speedster is heading to the big screen on June 15, and now we know when The Flash movie will be streaming on HBO’s rebranded streaming service called Max.

Decider’s Alex Zalben shared this detail from a recent Warner Bros. Discovery event where the streaming service HBO Max got reintroduced as “Max”.

The Flash streaming release window

Zalben revealed that The Flash will be making its way to Max in the Fall after the movie’s theatrical run ends. While there’s going to be some wait for The Flash, DC fans won’t have to wait for Shazam 2 at all.

Shazam 2 will be streaming on Max on May 23, which is the launch day for the rebranded streaming service. He also reported that Warner Bros. is aiming to release 20 films a year.

The Flash will be starring Ezra Miller once again as Barry Allen and the movie’s premise is based on the Flashpoint, which is one of the most important Flash storylines in DC.

The movie also marks the return of two Batman from different eras. Both Batman played by Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will be in The Flash.

James Gunn and Peter Safran, the duo in charge of DC’s cinematic universe, have already revealed that the movie will be resetting the entire DC cinematic universe as they look to build from scratch once again.

Grant Gustin addresses cameo Rumours

Meanwhile, The Flash TV show actor Grant Gustin has been long rumoured to have a cameo in the upcoming movie. Gustin was quizzed about the same in a TVLine interview, where he denied any sort of involvement in the project.

He said, “No! [laughs] Yeah, there have been a lot of rumors out there for a long time. No one has come out directly and asked me, like ever on the record. People ask me on the street all the time, and yeah, I’m not keeping some big elaborate secret.”

While The Flash actor from DC’s Arrowverse has denied any substance to the rumours, it’s still a possibility.

We’ve seen Ezra Miller with a cameo in the show not so long ago, and in a storyline such as The Flashpoint, it’s extremely easy to create room for a cameo from Grant Gustin as well in the movie.

We already know The Flash movie has multiple Flash in it, with Ezra Miller playing two Barry Allens in this movie. Another Flash won’t hurt.
