Wining and dining are top of the agenda at The Gantry, with the hotel home to two restaurants, a ground-floor coffee shop and its very own champagne bar. Foodie pop-ups also take up residency on a recurring basis in the hotel lobby.

Expect to be greeted by whiffs of freshly ground coffee from Hermanos Coffee, an East London coffee bar run by brothers Victor and Santiago Gamboa. The coffee shop specialises in high-quality beans and pays homage to Colombia’s rich culture.

Union Social is the hotel’s main restaurant, located on the first floor, which continues on the colour-blocking and pendant lighting found in the foyer. The all-day dining spot encompasses a lounge, bar and terrace area, with ample space for socialising but equally just as many quiet booths to tuck yourself away and get on with some work.

The menu takes guests from breakfast right through to sundown, with a full range of items for people with dietary requirements including vegetarian and vegan options. However, while the evening menu has a selection of interesting takes on global cuisine, the guest breakfast served in the morning is not the most memorable.

If you’re looking for a sophisticated tipple, The Coupe is a beautifully curated sparkling bar which, of course, specialises in locally-sourced sparkling wines, but also promises “sparkling decor and sparkling conversation” too.

STK Steakhouse is the hotel’s “fine dining experience”, combining traditional aspects of a steakhouse with the chic social setting one might expect of a hotel lounge. Located on the roof of the hotel, the restaurant also aims to heighten the social experience, with a dedicated DJ to “create an infectious, high-energy atmosphere”.

A rooftop bar joins STK Steakhouse on the 18th floor, promising handcrafted cocktails and gorgeous cityscape vistas of the capital.
