The Witcher 3 Next-Gen New PC Hotfix Improves NVIDIA DLSS 3 Stability

A new hotfix is now live for The Witcher 3 Next-Gen on PC, addressing some issues that affected NVIDIA RTX 40 series users and NVIDIA DLSS 3.

The new hotfix, which doesn’t change the game version, improves the game’s stability while running on the RTX 40 series cards and with NVIDIA DLSS3. No further change is introduced by the hotfix, so those playing on different GPUs will see no benefit from today’s hotfix.

Following the launch of The Witcher 3 Next-Gen, CD Projekt Red released a few updates to address issues on all formats. Ten days ago, the Polish studio released a new update that introduced CPU optimizations on PC as well as performance mode optimizations on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, a motion blur slider, and much more. The first major update, released earlier this year, attempted to improve raytracing on all formats by introducing optimizations on all formats as well as a performance mode for ray traced global illumination on PC.

The Witcher 3 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch worldwide. We will keep you updated on the game’s future updates as soon as more come in on them, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
