Your favourite make-up product?
Lip gloss
The first makeup product you bought as a teenager?
It was lip gloss. Usually girls are fond of lip gloss and so was I. I remember buying a red lip gloss.
The product you wanted to steal from your mom or sister?
I wanted to have my own make-up pouch like my mom did. Whenever I mom was not at home I used to apply her make-up and wash it before she came home.
Your skincare routine?
I rub ice over my face to remove puffiness. I use ghar ke nuskhe like gram flour, turmeric, curd. It acts as an antiseptic, tightens you skin and maintains skin texture. After shoot I wash my face, apply moisturizer and night serum.
How did you learn to look after your skin and do make-up correctly?
My mom was very particular about what brands and products I use. Many times we don’t know that the lipsticks we use have a lot of lead in them, which can be harmful in the long run. She made it a point I didn’t use too many chemical laden products.
The items one will always find in your make-up kit?
I keep a small perfume, so that it’s handy before going for a shot.
Make-up or skincare goof ups from the past?
When I was growing up I drank Safi and it backfired . It’s a good product but I had just undergone surgery and it turned out to be too heaty for me. I ended up with boils all over my face.
