Potter fails Man Utd test
Graham Potter has become one of the most sought-after managers in recent seasons due to his excellent progress with Brighton, and the Seagulls boss has caught the eye of Manchester United who are yet to announce a long-term replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Potter was even considered when Tottenham were looking for a manager of their own, although no Spurs fans are complaining about having Conte instead.
The Brighton boss is very much in United’s eye-line, but his big chance to make a major statement was not taken, as the Seagulls were abnormally poor.
Brighton have gained a lot of respect from the ‘big six’ in recent seasons, and even this year they have thwarted Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal, they bowed out of the FA Cup with a whimper against Spurs.
