Tottenham’s attacking display left the most to be desired during their midweek trip to Germany. Despite his hat-trick against Leicester before the international break, Son hasn’t been as consistent as in previous seasons and Frankfurt hosted another disappointing performance.
Too many moves broke down when the South Korean had the ball at his feet and while he could have taken a chance or two himself, the opportunity to find Harry Kane in the first half was spurned with an inaccurate cross.

Richarlison
In a performance that saw Tottenham face plenty of attacking criticism, the Brazilian has to shoulder some of the blame. Richarlison was the least influential member of Tottenham’s front three against Frankfurt and with Dejan Kulusevski breathing down his neck, the third starting spot hangs in the balance.
Many Spurs fans have begun to question the balance in Conte’s attacking trio with Son, Kane and Richarlison all looking to score, rather than provide. Kulusevski’s creative spark could therefore be called upon when the Premier League returns this weekend, although it remains to be see who he would come in for.
