Just a few hours later and the first race of the day saw another huge crash involving two trucks this time. At the same corner which Electric had his crash hours earlier, Daniel Kelemen is said to have lost his brakes before crashing into the back of rival Pedro Paulo Fernandes.

The scary moment saw both vehicles instantly wrecked with Fernandes’ truck flipping after hitting the tyre barrier. Emergency services were quickly on the scene, but both drivers were incredibly able to walk away from the crash.

“Thank God the damage was only material. Both Kleber and I escaped without a scratch, which shows the safety of Copa Trucks,” Fernandes said.
