Lucknow Super Giants secured a convincing victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 20223 match on Friday. Chasing a paltry target of 122 runs, the KL Rahul-led side put in a solid show with the bat after spinners rattled the Sunrisers’ batting unit, with Krunal Pandya claiming 3 wickets while Amit Mishra bagged 2. Though LSG lost 5 wickets en route their chase of 122 runs, they did enough to go across the line. With the result, Lucknow now have two wins in three matches which lift them the top spot in the league standings. Hyderabad, as a result of the loss, have dropped to the bottom of the table, having failed to secure a single win in their two matches so far.
