Valorant Fans Clamor for a Shorter Version of the Unrated Game Mode

Riot Games’ popular FPS title Valorant, has certainly made a major mark on the Esports scene even though the game hasn’t celebrated its second anniversary yet.

After years of great professional moments with its marquee title League of Legends, the developers created waves with Valorant around the time of its release by pushing its many features for the competitive world.

However, while the pro scene has thrived since the game’s release, the casual fanbase of the title seems to have been put off by the lack of attempts by the developers at Riot Games to improve their world as well.

Many fans have claimed that the title has yet to have a proper casual game mode where players can enjoy without spending a long time.

Even though Valorant has Unrated, players are tired of playing a casual game mode which can take over 40 minutes to complete. Other than that, they aren’t particularly impressed by its other casual modes like Deathmatch and Spike Rush.

However, fans of Valorant on Reddit might have a solution that the developers want to consider. While time is a major constraint for casual players wanting to play Valorant, a recent Reddit post suggested that the community would welcome a shorter version of it with open arms.

A short Unrated game mode won’t cause a massive change in the gameplay. Moreover, this would also help players, who don’t want to spend a lot of time by playing 20-30 rounds depending on the match.

Community members noted that a first to seven or eight win game would work perfectly as this would also be a healthy alternative for a warm up game to many players while they wait for their teammates to join for some Unrated or Ranked action.

In the end, it remains to be seen if the developers will be interested in developing such a mode. But, if they do, it will definitely be something that fans could eagerly wait for.
