Valorant’s mobile port is Riot Games’ much-awaited release, which is currently in the works. The PC game is one of the most popular titles currently, and it is bound to disrupt the mobile gaming space as well. CEO of Global Esports, Rushindra Sinha, thinks that the game even has potential to beat Battlegrounds Mobile India’s popularity in the country.
Sinha was talking to fans online during a livestream, where he also revealed that Valorant Mobile won’t be coming out anytime soon.
“Valorant Mobile is going to be the biggest thing in Asia when it happens,” Sinha said on the livestream (via AFKGaming). “Now, when is that going to happen? It will take time, and it is not going to happen anytime soon. Realistically, nothing is going to happen for at least one year. It is unlikely that anything could happen in one year.”
He even went on to say that the full game release won’t happen within the next year, but we might get a beta release sometime soon. He, however, added that he doesn’t know if the game is ready for a release yet, but he has seen early versions of it. But as for if Valorant Mobile can beat BGMI’s craze, Sinha said, “Two hundred percent. It has the potential to cross it when it comes. But it is not going to come anytime soon, it will take time.”
Valorant Mobile is still in development, but a recent report showed that the beta program could allow users to invite up to five players to join them in the testing. Riot Games made the announcement in June 2021 that Valorant is going mobile, and the release now seems imminent.
