Former NRL star Curtis Scott is facing a ban after being filmed in a wild brawl while playing in the Wests Group Macarthur competition.

The former Melbourne and Canberra centre was playing for Thirlmere when he was involved in a fight with an opponent from the Narellan Jets.

The 25-year-old was reportedly sent off for striking and will face the NSWRL judiciary.

Thirlmere, who also have another former NRL star in Blake Ferguson in their side, won the match 60-10.

It’s the latest in a long list of incidents involving Scott, who was axed by Canberra in 2021 following a number of off-field dramas.

“The board decided that Curtis Scott’s prior behaviour and recent assault charge has brought the club into disrepute, and they could not ignore this and the responsibilities that his NRL playing contract entails,” the Raiders said at the time.

In October, he was found guilty of assaulting his former partner, long jumper Tay-Leiha Clark.

Scott was convicted by Magistrate Daniel Covington, who placed him on a 12-month community corrections order, and fined him $1400.

“These are multiple incidents that occurred over a period of time and there are three separate incidents that he is being sentenced to,” Covington said.
