Vikrant Massey tied the knot with Sheetal Thakur on Friday after dating for a few years. Vikrant now has shared pictures from the couple’s Haldi ceremony on Instagram.
In the first picture, Vikrant and Sheetal can be seen posing for the lens. While Vikrant was dressed in white kurta pyjama paired with a Nehru jacket, Sheetal Thakur donned a yellow lehenga for the ceremony. In the second picture, Sheetal is seen rubbing the yellow Haldi paste on the face of Vikrant. But, at the same time, Vikrant’s kurta and jacket can be spotted missing in the picture. Vikrant captioned the post as, “kurta faad haldi,” indicating that his kurta was torn during the ceremony. Another picture shows the couple enjoying themselves as they were showered with flower petals.
Sheetal also shared the Haldi pictures on her Instagram profile and wrote, “hamari haldi”. The duo got engaged in a private Roka ceremony in 2019. They were supposed to tie the knot in 2020 but couldn’t do so owing to COVID-19 pandemic. Vikrant had told a leading news website, “Agar lockdown nahi hota toh meri shaadi ho chuki hoti (If it were not for the lockdown, I would have been married by now). That’s one thing that pushed me back by a few months. I was supposed to get married to Sheetal last year, but the good thing is that I have this year to look forward to now.”
