Vivo Files Patents for Two New Dual Screen Phones

0

The Chinese Smartphone Maker, Vivo is back again in the headlines with new innovative smartphones. Vivo already has its dual display smartphone which was launched in the last year named Vivo Nex 3. And now it seems like the company is planning to come up with more dual-screen devices.

LetsGoDigital has shared the patents filed by the Chinese Smartphone Maker which claims that the company is working on its new generation dual-screen smartphones. The patent image shows off an additional display on the back of the device. The patent filed by Vivo with World Intellectual Property Office has now been approved and the company could start working on its new smartphone.

As you can see in the patent images, there are two different devices carrying different displays. The front of the phones is featuring the same full-screen display like the predecessor i.e. Vivo Nex 3. What makes them different from each other is their rear displays.

If we talk about the Model A, it features an innovative RGB-lit O-ring LED. The Selfie spotlight is like a lunar ring on the back. The lunar ring for the cameras is placed at the upper right side of the phone. It’s a small size display and only the half portion of it is covered with it on the back.

Model B also features kind of the same display on the backside with a camera ring. All the useful sensors are placed inside the ring.

Unfortunately, we are unable to locate the front-facing camera on both the models. The Vivo Nex 3 smartphone also lacks the front-facing camera. The phone comes with a notch-less design that makes the device look handy.

Apart from this, both the models might come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The top bezel of the phone features an earpiece. At the left side, the phone features the Volume Rocker and Power buttons. The right edge of the device also features a button which could be an additional volume button.

The upcoming Vivo’s dual-screen phones would be launched with new VivoX smartphones. There is no further information on these devices available with us.
