Vodafone-Idea (Vi) has announced a new affordable prepaid voucher for its customers. It is priced at Rs 181 and is a data voucher that offers additional data benefits over the existing data quota of the base prepaid plan, reports TelecomTalk. This also means the plan can only be availed as an add-on voucher on top of the existing prepaid plan.
Vi Rs 181 data voucher: What it offers
The new Rs 181 data voucher allows users to add more data on top of the existing prepaid plan’s data quota. The voucher comes with 30 days validity and offers 1GB of additional data daily for 30 days. This means, the 1GB data quota that comes with the plan is valid for one day and once it is exhausted the next 1GB data will be available the next day.

Vi is not the only telecom service provider to offer a prepaid voucher with add-on data benefits. Airtel also has the exact same — Rs 181 — data voucher available for its customers that also offers exactly the same benefits. Vi’s plan is limited to 4G data only as the telecom service provider is still to launch 5G service in the country. On the other hand, Airtel is offering its 5G services almost across the country now along with unlimited 5G data.
In fact, Reliance Jio also has a data add-on voucher that costs Rs 181. It also comes with 30 days validity and offers 30GB of data all at once, with no daily data quota. Also, it is an unlimited data voucher where after the data quoted is exhausted, the speed will reduce to 64Kbps.
