Wakanda Forever – Here Is the First Look at Ironheart MK II Armor, the Spiritual Successor to Iron Man

Following months of waiting, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has finally arrived in theatres around the globe.

The sequel to the hit 2018 MCU film sees the mantle of Black Panther being passed over following the death of actor Chadwick Boseman. The story follows the struggle between Wakanda and its newest nemesis, Namor the Sub-Mariner.

To defeat Namor, Wakanda has got reinforcement in the form of Dominque Thorne’s Riri Williams, who makes her debut in the film as Ironheart. Just like Tony Stark’s Iron Man, Williams is MCU’s answer to the man in a suit of armour along with James Rhodey’s War Machine.

In the film’s trailers, we saw Williams working on her armour prototypes, as she’s a genius inventor after all. We also see her interacting with the likes of Shuri in Wakanda Forever.

While we saw the unfinished prototypes of Ironheart in the trailers, it wasn’t until the most recent TV spot, where we finally got a glimpse at her functioning MK II armour. It features rocket boosters and an array of weapons at her disposal.

With her presence in Wakanda, it’s very likely that Williams’ suit will feature Vibranium elements and advanced Wakandan tech, which might make it one of the powerful suits in MCU history.

Following her debut, Thorne will suit up as Ironheart once again in her Disney+ series, which is slated to release next year as part of MCU Phase 5. The series also stars Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Aiden Ehrenreich, Manny Montana and more. You can also check out IGN India’s review of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
