Actress Mithila Palkar who turned a year older on January 11, celebrated her birthday differently this year. She celebrated it with the children of Angel Xpress Foundation, which has been in association with Exceed Cares, an initiative by Exceed Entertainment.
Speaking to mid-day.com at the event, Mithila said, “I`ve never done this before and now that I`m here I wonder why I`ve not done it more often. It was very special because I genuinely feel like your curiosity, fearlessness and innocence is so intact when you are a kid that you don`t think 200 times before taking a step ahead. You start losing that energy because suddenly you are so tactful. The exchange is so nice and refreshing. I got to cut my cake with them, sing songs, play games and that was really special”

Did she feel like a kid herself? “I feel like I haven`t grown up, yet I`ve grown up. So I do feel like a kid again.”
Opening up about what she is manifesting this year, the actress added, “The birthday wish is to be in the present. We all have got into this habit of running too fast, ahead of ourselves. So I want to slow down and be present. Let`s see how successful I am!”
The actress went on to speak about her dream role and also shared memories of Makar Sankranti.
