“What the F*** Is Twitch?”- Gordon Ramsay Is Clueless About One of the Biggest Streaming Platforms in the World

World renowned chef Gordon Ramsay was recently opened up to a whole new world when he found out about the streaming platform, Twitch. He was introduced to the concept of streaming through one of his contestants in his new cooking reality TV show, Next Level Chef.

The show began earlier this week with the first episode, which aired on January 2, and the competition comprises several trained chefs. But, along with that, the British cooking icon also met a Twitch streamer that fans may have heard about.

Gordon Ramsay finds out about Twitch through his contestant on Next Level Chef

Next Level Chef, premiered on FOX earlier this week with 15 contestants, with one of them being social media star, Tricia Wang. The popular streamer joined other professional cooks and culinary aficionados for a chance to win the competition’s top prize of $250,000.

In the show, after cooking a dish in one of the rounds, Wang presented it to the judges, which included Gordon Ramsay, Richard Blais and Nyesha Arrington. When Ramsay asked about what Wang did for a living, she replied that she was a Twitch streamer, which completely stumped the British chef.

“What the f*** is Twitch?”

The clip of his response has since gone viral as fans joked about how Gordon Ramsay didn’t know about Twitch because his face is plastered on the platform as he’s been a part of shows like MasterChef which has been watched on streams by a lot of content creators recently.

Following the broadcast of Next Level Chef’s first episode, Gordon Ramsay took to Twitter to respond to the burning questions from fans who watched this episode. One response from a fan that caught his attention was about his discovery of Twitch, and the popular chef reiterated that he had no clue what it was.

Streaming legend and celebrated Twitch streamer xQc replied to his query about the platform, and offered his services to the chef as he’s indebted to him after watching many of the MasterChef episodes involving him.

It remains to be seen if Ramsay will ever contact the juicer as fans would love to see the iconic chef show off his streaming chops on Twitch soon.
