WhatsApp on Android may bring some minor changes for these users

WhatsApp Business as well as the regular messenger on Android recently got changes in the user interface in the beta version of the app. There is a new business tools tab for the business accounts and the camera shortcut has been moved to a new place alongside the “Search” tab in the regular version. The instant messaging app is now releasing another set of UI-related changes that are said to be in line with Android’s Material You standards.
The beta update for WhatsApp Business on Android has firmware numbers 2.22.22.16 and 2.22.23.3 for Business accounts and the regular version, respectively. WABetaInfo says that WhatsApp is releasing the changes to some beta testers who can install the update from the Play Store. If you immediately don’t see an option to update, you will have to wait for some more days before you get access.

What are the minor tweaks to WhatsApp Business’ UI
WhatsApp on Android beta update brings some changes to the homepage. The tabs on the main screen of the application are now in sentence case. The previous version showed these tab names in uppercase. In fact, all the places where the name is written in uppercase will be changed to sentence case, the beta version suggests.
The second set of changes is being brought in the buttons. All the buttons in the WhatsApp app now have a rounded design. You can go to WhatsApp Settings > Help > App info and can see that the “LICENSES”, which is written in uppercase in current stable versions of the Android apps is now a pill-shaped button with “Licenses” written in it.
These buttons look in accordance with the recent Material standards for Android in terms of typography and button design. It is possible that the Meta-owned instant messaging app may release some more tweaks for beta testing in the coming weeks.
