Where Is Xur Today? (April 7-11) – Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide

Destiny 2 is always evolving, but if there’s one reassuring constant in its design, it’s a visit from Xur every Friday. As usual, Xur is back with a new supply of Exotics and Legendary-class gear that you can look through. Here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what the Agent of the Nine has for sale.

This week you can find Xur on Nessus, in The Watcher’s Grave. For his weapon, Xur is offering Sunshot. Hunters can pick up The Dragon’s Shadow chest armor; Titans can grab the Helm of Saint-14 helmet; and for Warlocks, Xur has Transversive Steps leg armor.

Xur Location

Head to Nessus and use the Watcher’s Grave transmat zone to find Xur this week. When you arrive, hop on your sparrow and head north toward the exit of the area. Look for a big tree with pink moss on the right side of the area. Climb up onto its big, flat branch, where you can reach Xur.

Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 strikes or Crucible matches so that you can earn an Exotic Cipher. These are normally used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower, but next season, you’ll be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. The cap on Exotic Ciphers will also be increasing, as you’ll be able to hold up to five up them at a time.

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.

Sunshot

One of the oldest Exotics in Destiny 2, Sunshot recently got a buff that helped tie its identity further into the Solar 3.0 subclass. At its most basic level, final blows from this hand cannon will still make enemies explode, but that detonation also applies stacks of Scorch on nearby foes, setting them up for an explosive finale as well.

Hawkmoon

This week’s build of Hawkmoon is one that we’ve seen several times already, with the key perk being Eye of the Storm. That perk makes the weapon more accurate and boosts handling as your health gets lower, and alongside Alloy Magazine and Polymer Grip, makes for a decent roll. This will work fairly well in PvP, although there are better hand cannon options available for this activity.

Dead Man’s Tale

Dead Man’s Tale gets a pretty great perk this week, as Subsistence will partially reload the magazine when you defeat targets with the scout rifle. Throw in Arrowhead Brake for recoil control, Ricochey Rounds just in case you miss, and Composite Stock for increased stability, and that makes this DMT great for clearing out red-bar enemies.

The Dragon’s Shadow

This Exotic armor is great for Hunters who like to dodge out of harm’s way, as doing so will reload all weapons while increasing movement and weapon handling speeds for a brief time. For its overall stats, this armor rolls in with high mobility, intellect, and discipline stats, and average resilience.

Helm of Saint-14

For Titans who enjoy using their Void abilities, Helm of Saint-14 offers some excellent defensive options. Targets that enter Ward of Dawn are blinded, while allies who pass through will gain a Void overshield. If you use the Sentinel Shield Super, it’ll blind nearby targets when you guard. As for the numbers on this helmet, it has great mobility, recovery, and intellect, but resilience is downright terrible. It’s still great, but you’ll need to buff your resilience with your other armor pieces so that you can survive long enough to pop your Supers.

Transversive Steps

These boots were made for sprinting, as they’ll increase your speed and automatically reload your weapon after a short jog. This makes Transversive Steps great for PvP, considering the fast-paced nature of that activity, and the stats for this Exotic enhance that particular gameplay strategy. You’ll get excellent mobility, discipline, and strength with these boots, but expect average resilience and recovery with them equipped.
