Wild Hearts March 27th Patch Introduces Improved CPU Performance On PC And More

0

A new Wild Hearts patch is now live on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, introducing CPU performance improvements on PC, some balance tweaks, and fixes on all formats.

Today’s patch brings some welcome CPU performance improvements for the PC version of the game, especially for AMD processors. These improvements haven’t been detailed on the full patch notes, so it is not yet clear how much performance has been enhanced. In my time with the PC version, my i7-10700 CPU was constantly running at around 90% utilization, even with very little going on on-screen, so it was clear the game needed some proper optimization.

The new Wild Hearts patch also brings new connections for reinforcement between different combinations of weapons, bringing some additional customization possibilities and a confirmation window at the start of a co-op session if the host is further along in the story. Lastly, the patch brings plenty of other fixes on all platforms that should make for a smoother and more stable experience.

The new Wild Hearts patch comes hot off the heels of another patch that went live last week. This patch brought new content to the hunting game developed by Omega Force, such as the new Grimstalker Kemono, three new quests that reward players with new Chat Stamps and Emotes, and more. More content is set to come to Wild Hearts next month, with two updates that will introduce new Kemono, new weapons and armor sets, the Spinning Top Karakuri, and the yet-to-be-detailed Limit Break system.

Wild Hearts is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S worldwide. You can learn more about this surprisingly solid hunting game by checking out my review.
