We have all gushed over British actor Henry Cavill for a variety of reasons. For DC fans, he has played the world’s greatest superhero in Superman. For gaming fans, he has taken up the mantle of Geralt of Rivia in the TV adaptation of CD Projekt RED franchise, The Witcher.

However, fans have also loved him for another reason as he’s a massive fan of nerd culture. Over the years, we have seen him showcase his knowledge about gaming and hardware such as the famous video of him trying to build a PC from scratch.

However, the actor took that up a notch recently, when he visited the Warhammer World, which is the UK headquarters of developers Games Workshop.

The Man of Steel actor has made it known that he adores Warhammer, and he has been a fanatic for years. During a recent appearance in the Graham Norton show, the British star even confirmed that his hobby includes painting many Warhammer figurines that he uses for battle against other players.

However, his visit to the Warhammer World confirms the amount of adulation he has for the franchise, as he even chatted with many of its employees and fans at the Games Workshop’s headquarters.

Along with that, some photos even showcased him purchasing a Warhammer book, which suggests that he has been keeping up with the franchise’s massive lore.

In the end, with Games Workshop’ on a potential TV show adaptation, it seems like Cavill will be in front of the line to play a part in it, and following his attempts at playing characters in other comic book and gaming IPs, Warhammer fans will definitely welcome him with open arms.
