Xiaomi 13 Pro surfaces on BIS, SIRIM database ahead of official launch

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has teased the launch of its next flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 13. The Xiaomi 13 Pro, which is also a part of the upcoming lineup, has now surfaced on the SIRIM and BIS databases, suggesting an imminent launch in Malaysia and India. The Xiaomi 13 series was supposed to make its debut in China on December 1. However, the launch was postponed and the company hasn’t disclosed the new launch date yet.
According to reports by Gizmochina, both the BIS and SIRIM certifications indicate that the device has the model number 2210132G. In addition, the SIRIM certification validates the name “Xiaomi 13 Pro.” Apart from this, the certifications don’t reveal much else about the smartphone. As per the previous teasers released by the company, the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

Xiaomi 13 Pro: Expected features and specifications
The Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone is tipped to sport a 6.73-inch display that might offer a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which could be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
For photography, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is likely to come equipped with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is rumoured to be backed by a 4,820mAh battery unit that might support 120W fast charging. The upcoming device is also said to come with an IR blaster, a cyber-engine linear motor, NFC, and an IP68-rated chassis, along with other salient features.
