Xiaomi’s ‘most powerful’ smartphone of 2022 gets a price cut

Xiaomi has slashed the price of its flagship smartphone — Xiaomi 12 Pro in India. The smartphone has received a price cut of Rs 8,000. The new price of the smartphone is reflecting on the official website of the company. Launched in April this year, the flagship Xiaomi smartphone will now compete against the recently launched Pixel 7 and the OnePlus 10T 5G smartphones.
New price and offers
Xiaomi 12 Pro comes in two versions — 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. The Chinese smartphone maker launched the 8GB variant at Rs 62,999 and the 12GB version at Rs 66,999. After the price cut of Rs 8,000, buyers can purchase the 8GB variant at Rs 54,999, while the 12GB version costs Rs 58,999. The smartphone can be purchased in Noir Black, Opera Mauve and Couture Blue colour options.

Xiaomi is also giving some offers to the buyers of Xiaomi 12 Pro. The customers can avail a flat discount of Rs 3,000 on ICICI Bank credit and debit cards. The HDFC Bank credit card users will get an instant discount of Rs 3,500 on the smartphone. Along with this, the company is also giving an exchange offer of up to Rs 16,500 on the smartphone.
Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G smartphone sports a 6.73-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display that supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with with up to 12 GB RAM. Xiaomi 12 Pro packs 256GB internal storage and runs Android 12 operating system. The handset also supports Dolby Atmos and features a quad-speaker setup by Harmon Kardon
Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup that includes — a 50MP Sony IMX707 wide-angle primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The handset features a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The device is backed by a 4600mAh battery that supports 120W HyperCharge technology, a 50W wireless fast charge and 10W reverse charging. The Chinese smartphone maker claims that the phone takes 18-minutes to fully charge under the boost mode, while in standard mode the device takes almost 24-minutes to charge.
