xQc has been one of the first Twitch streamers to finish Elden Ring. This is quite an impressive feat, considering the difficulty of the game and the sheer amount of content it has to offer. Like every other Souls game, you might need to do a bit of soul farming if you want to make your fights a bit easier. For xQc, this was the exact motive as well, and he discovered a trick to farm souls himself.

xQc’s Loses 400k Elden Ring Runes While Using Trick To Farm A Million An Hour

In the Deeproot Depths region of the Lands Between, there is a very good way to farm runes in Elden Ring. This was discovered by xQc and became a hit in a matter of days. Basically, all you have to do is follow the path from the Site of Grace towards an enemy, hit it from behind, then trace back the path and jump towards a platform, kill the other enemy, and fast travel back to the Site of Grace. This barely takes 30 seconds to do, and it gives you a whopping 7000 runes. This basically means you can get almost a million runes an hour (840k to be exact). However, if you are feeling quite lucky, you might try even harder and go for the third enemy, which is a bit trickier to reach coz of the unusual path.

Now xQc had farmed almost 400k souls and fell down once while trying to reach the third enemy. He casually went on to repeat the process and while going for the third enemy once again, he misses the jump by a whisker and loses all of it. He had spent quite a lot of time farming it, so he was absolutely pretty pissed off at the entire situation. But then again, where is the fun in Souls game if it doesn’t make you rage and break your controller?
