Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED still available – but hurry | Gaming | Entertainment

Even though The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is bringing back one of Breath of the Wild’s worst features, Nintendo Switch fans (myself included) are still pretty excited about the upcoming Zelda sequel. During the most recent Nintendo Direct conference, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma showcased some of the game’s new locations, as well as a few of Link’s newest abilities. The conference ended with confirmation that a Tears of the Kingdom-themed Nintendo Switch OLED console would launch a couple of weeks ahead of the game. And despite the console proving incredibly popular with collectors and hardcore Zelda fans, Amazon is still accepting pre-orders for the stunning new handheld. You can pick up a Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Limited Edition by clicking the link below.

Launching on April 28, the Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED Model is currently priced at £319.99 on Amazon.

It’s likely to shoot up in price once it sells out and becomes something of a collectible, so you might want to hurry and place your order as soon as possible.

As you can see from the image above, the Tears of the Kingdom consoles features the Hylian Crest from the Legend of Zelda series on the front of the dock.

That’s on top of a pair of golden Joy-Con controllers, which also feature various Zelda symbols and icons.

As a reminder, the OLED Switch features a 7-inch display capable of producing sharper, more vibrant images.

It also has a wider stand compared to the older model, as well as 64GB of storage and enhanced audio.

As for Tears of the Kingdom, the Breath of the Wild sequel has a May 12 release date, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

The new game will feature a selection of floating islands, which can be found in the skies above Hyrule.

Link can travel to the floating islands by using his new rewind function on rocks that have fallen to the ground.

Another neat new feature is the ability to fuse items together to make new weapons. For example, Link can construct a makeshift hammer by combining a stick with a rock. Likewise, you can create a cloud of smoke by adding a puffshroom to your shield.

Link can even create his very own speedboats and aircraft using his new abilities.

In addition to the aforementioned Zelda-themed Switch OLED Model, Nintendo will release a Tears of the Kingdom carry case and Pro Controller.
