A new smartphone from ZTE called ZTE Blade V9 has appeared on ZTE’s Spanish website. It will be the first smartphone from ZTE to sports an 18:9 full-screen display. The smartphone will be made available in gold and black color options, while there is no information about the pricing and availability of the device yet but it is expected to launch at CES in January.
Talking about the design, the ZTE Blade V9 has a double sided glass design; the rear panel carries a reflective finish with a circular shaped fingerprint scanner placed right above the ZTE’s branding. While the horizontal camera module sits on the upper left corner of the device. On the front, bezels around the display are narrow and there is no physical home button at the front. Design-wise, the Blade V9 is quite an improvement over its predecessor Blade V8.
As for specification, the ZTE Blade V9 runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and sports a 5.7” Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by a .8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor. It offers three RAM and storage configuration with 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card.
For photography, the ZTE Blade V9 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup 16MP and 5MP cameras with PDAF 2.0, f/1.8 aperture, 6P Lens and LED flash support. On the front, there is a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The ZTE Blade V9 is fueled by a 3200mAh Lithium-ion battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5 mm headphone jack and micro USB port. It measures 151.4 x 70.6 x 7.5mm and weighs 140 grams.
