Peter said that costcutting has led to difficulties in the UK care industry while many staff in Britain are on low wages.
He told Express.co.uk “A lot of centres in the UK have a determination to reduce costs. Staff are more expensive in the West.
“In the North of Thailand, people have a natural respect and love for the elderly. A lot of the care here comes from the heart.
“It’s not just a minimum wage job with difficult hours here which makes quite a huge difference.
“If you want your parents or grandparents to have a high level of care and a high level of happiness in the rest of their life, Thailand is an option.”
