The Wednesday actress urged her social media users to join herself, the Prince and Princess and Wales for the festivities as they remember Queen Elizabeth II.
In view of her 40.8 million followers, she penned: “I am so honored to be narrating the #togetheratchristmas carol service tonight this Christmas Eve (7pm GMT, ITV1)remembering Queen Elizabeth II and celebrating inspiring people doing so much for their communities. Join us, at Westminster Abbey, for this special occasion with @princeandprincessofwales and, of course, our beloved Paddington Bear.”
Michael Douglas’ wife accompanied the post with a picture of Westminster Abbey and another photo of a Christmas tree with Paddington Bear.
It is the first royal carol service since the Queen died in September.
The Together at Christmas event was held on 15 December, and was supported by the Royal Foundation, a charity founded and run by the Prince and Princess of Wales.
