Genshin Impact is all set to get the 2.8 Update in the coming days, which will be the last update before the arrival of the Sumeru region and Dendro characters.
The Genshin Impact 2.8 Update will be released on 13th July 2022 at 6:00 AM (UTC+8). The maintenance will kick off at that time, and it will take roughly five hours for the maintenance to complete. Like always, for every hour the game is down, players will be getting 60 Primogems. That means that for 5 hours, players will roughly be getting 300 Primogems as compensation. If the maintenance lasts for longer than that, players will be getting more Primogems, but if it ends earlier, players are guaranteed to get at least 300 Primogems. Do note that you need to be at least Adventure Rank 5 and above to get the rewards.
We have been getting two banners every update for a while now, and the 2.8 Update is no exception. Kazuha and Klee are making a comeback in this update, and fans are quite eager to pull for them. As usual, there is a lot of curiosity around the 4-star characters as well, and the good news is that we have some really good characters who are a part of the banner. Apart from the characters, there is a plethora of interesting stuff to look forward to. Quite notable of all is the arrival of new cosmetics in the form of Diluc and Fischl skins which players have been eagerly waiting for. There is also a new Kazuha quest as well as Hangout event as part of the update.
