Princess Charlotte’s upbringing would certainly be unlike any other child in the UK. However, she does have a particular interest in a popular sport other children her age enjoy. What is the young Princess’ favourite hobby?

On August 2 of this year, Prince William, Kate, Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte attended The Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

They made a visit to Team England Futures, a partnership between SportsAid, Sport England and Commonwealth Games England to better prepare Team England, Team GB or ParalympicsGB debutants.

The seven-year-old was asked what her favourite sport is, to which she replied “gymnastics”.

William and Kate vouched for their daughter’s passion, with the Prince revealing that Charlotte is partial to practising at home.

DON’T MISS…

Princess Charlotte is not the only royal with a very ordinary, relatable hobby.

Queen Camilla told Vogue that there is a particular word game that she enjoys playing with her granddaughter.

She did not specify which, but she has two granddaughters, Eliza Lopes, 14, and Lola Parker Bowles, 15, in addition to step-granddaughter Charlotte.

The Queen Consort stated: “I do Wordle every day with my granddaughter.” She revealed that she is rather good, and delights in her linguistic prowess when she wins.

“She’ll text me to say, ‘I’ve done it in three’, and I say, ‘Sorry, I’ve done it in two today’. It’s very satisfactory when it tells you how brilliant you are.”
