Microsoft is releasing Edge’s AI Image Creator tool for all users

Microsoft has announced that it is rolling out its artificial intelligence (AI) image generator for Edge all users on desktop. Powered by DALL-E deep learning models developed by OpenAI, the image creator can generate digital images from natural language descriptions.
With this, Microsoft Edge is now “the first and only browser with an integrated AI image generator.” This means Windows users who have Microsoft Edge installed and use the image creator now. Those on macOS, mobile or Linux devices can download the browser to use the Image Creator.
“This feature will help you create images that don’t yet exist, powered by the very latest DALL∙E models from our partners at OpenAI, right from the Microsoft Edge sidebar,” the company said.
For example, if you need an image for your presentation, you can punch in a description, and the Image Creator will make an image for you. You can fine-tune your description to get the desired image.
How to use Edge’s AI Image Creator
Here’s how you can use Microsoft’s AI-powered image creator:
– Navigate to the sidebar on the right side of the browser.
– Tap on the Image Creator icon and enter a prompt.
– Users will see four different image options to choose from.
– Select the one you desire, download it, and or upload it to social media
It is to be noted that those who are using the Image Creator tool in Microsoft Edge for the first time will need to enable it in the Edge sidebar by clicking the “+” icon and turning on the toggle key for Image Creator.
Other Edge features
Microsoft also launched other features, which include classic features like Collections and vertical tabs to help users multitask smarter online. There are also other features such as Drop, edit image, and efficiency mode. It makes it easier for users to share files and notes across C, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
