TV actress Tunisha Sharma allegedly died by suicide on December 24. Her body was found on the sets of an ongoing TV series. In a recent development, her boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan was arrested on the charge of suicide abetment.
As per multiple reports, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed by Vanita Sharma – Tunisha’s mother. The complaint maintains that Sheezan and Tunisha were in a relationship. They broke up 15 days before the actress’ death. According to the late actor’s mother, she was reportedly under stress due to the breakup.
Who is Sheezan Khan?
Sheezan Khan is a 28-year-old TV actor who is best known for his role as a young Akbar in the TV series Jodha Akbar. He has appeared in shows like Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, Silsila Pyaar Ka, Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan and more.
Sheezan Khan often shares glimpses of her work and personal life on his social media handle. Last week, he shared an Instagram post in which he can be seen with Tunisha. He captioned it, “Don’t Look Back!”
As per reports on a leading news portal, Sheezan informed Maharashtra police that he decided to break up with Tunisha after witnessing the discourse around the Shraddha Walker case and cited being from a different community and their age gap as a reason to part ways.
To note, Tunisha Sharma’s death case is currently being treated as a suicide. However, there is an ongoing investigation to confirm the cause of death.
